Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The bottom navigation bar currently includes five buttons. Two of them, Discovery and Local, do not yet provide significant value to the core experience and could be removed from the forefront.
The three essential and most useful buttons are:
Home (House): direct access to the timeline.
Bell: managing notifications and received messages.
Envelope: accessing private messages.
I recommend keeping these three buttons prominent to ensure simple, smooth navigation focused on the most frequently used features. The Discovery and Local buttons could be moved to the main app menu.
Alternative Solution: Customizable Bottom Navigation
Another approach would be to add a setting that allows each user to customize the bottom navigation bar. Users could choose which buttons to display, hide, or rearrange according to their preferences and usage. This approach would provide a more flexible and personalized experience while retaining access to all app functionalities.
