Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
I’m experiencing a behavior I don’t fully understand in the global timeline.
Initially, I added a profile to a list that does not hide members’ posts in the global timeline. Later, I changed my mind and moved this profile to a new list configured to hide members’ posts in the global timeline.
However, I’ve noticed that boosts (reposts) from this profile still continue to appear in the global timeline despite this change.
I’m wondering whether this is expected behavior, possibly related to how the Mastodon API works.
If so, would it be possible to add an option to mute a profile’s boosts on an individual basis (in addition to list-based filtering)?
This would provide more granular control over what appears in the global timeline.
Thank you
