While using the Holos application, I noticed that there is no noticeable difference in behavior between Wi-Fi and mobile data (4G) connections.

In particular:

Images load normally over 4G, without any apparent optimization.
Message retrieval and background synchronization appear to occur periodically, as if the connection type is not being properly taken into account in an adaptive way.

This results in increased mobile data consumption and unnecessary battery usage.

I would like to suggest adding a “Data Saver” or “Manual Mode” option that would allow users to:

limit or disable automatic image loading over mobile data,
disable background synchronization,
manually load images and manually refresh posts and the database.

This would significantly improve the user experience, especially for users with limited data plans or those seeking better battery efficiency.
