I noticed a behavior that could be improved.

This morning, I was at work and barely used my phone. I only opened Holos early in the morning to check a few things, then I completely closed the app.

Later, when I checked the Android notifications, I noticed that Holos was still showing as synchronizing, even though the app had been closed.

During that time, my phone remained unused, yet the battery lost approximately 30% of its charge. This suggests that the background synchronization may be having a significant impact on battery consumption.

Suggested improvement:

Automatically stop synchronization when the app is closed, unless background synchronization is truly required.
Reduce unnecessary background activity to improve battery life.
If persistent background synchronization is necessary, provide a setting that allows users to enable or disable it.
