holos crashes when opening Notifications screen (long post issue?) #34

On beta-13.

This might be two independent issues. I don't know. I'll just describe what happened.

I just sent myself a very long unlisted post (~ 5000 characters, ) from GoToSocial mentioning my holos account. (GTS does not serve unlisted posts via the web interface. If you want to see it, you have to reach it via an ActivityPub app.)

The new message indicator on Home and Notifications increased by 1, but when I tap Notifications holos briefly shows the loading circle and then crashes. It does this every time I try to access the Notifications tab.

I sent myself another - this time short - unlisted post mentioning my holos account trying to clear the issue:

the short post showed up in the Home timeline
counter next to Notifications stayed at 1 (i.e. did not increase)

After force-closing holos and re-starting it, the short post no longer shows up in the Home timeline. I tried pulling down to reload and more forced restarts, but the (short) post no longer shows and Notifications stay at 1.

When I search for the (short) post I can open it and interact with it. This brought it back to the Home timeline. Notifications stay at 1.
