Description

I have manually approved followers enabled but anyone can follow me

Steps to Reproduce

Enable "manual approve followers"
Ask someone to follow you

Expected Behavior

I should receive follow with accept or deny button

Actual Behavior

Follows working without approving

Apologize if this isn’t actually the same bug and should have its own issue (and for the notification for the previous message that I deleted)

I enabled "Approve Followers", then followed my account from my main Mastodon account.
I received a notification saying that my main account started following my Holos account but my main account sees the "waiting for approval"(Fedilab)/"cancel request"(web) button and doesn’t receive toots from the Holos account. Also, looking at my profile shows 0 followers.

This makes me think that there really is a pending request, but I can’t find where to approve it as there is no button in the notifications, no "Follow requests" button in the menu as in Fedilab, and nothing on the main account when viewed from Holos.
