Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
I know anyone can just clone the repository or download the main branch as an archive, but it would be really helpful if you could tag an official release. Codeberg (just like GitHub or GitLab) has a built-in feature to create releases. This would make it much easier for users to track stable versions and know exactly what has changed.
edit: I am specifically talking about the Holos Relay Server.
The relay server is currently my only project which is not tagged, by choice. It will be done soon. The relay currently works on a branch with a big rework of how the shared inbox is handled. I wanted to study the behaviour for a few weeks. I will soon merge this branch into main and tag the first release.
Awesome. Because while I am sure many people would use holos.social, there are those who will want to run their own relay. After all, the whole point of the Fediverse is its decentralized nature. Having an official release and documented updated releases when needed will only serve to help.
