I am playing around with Holos as a new user, and as a new user of nostr too I can see the similarities. I have my own domain set up on nostr and Bluesky (both
@domain.tld) and this is where I feel a bit perplexed to switch from Mastodon to Holos: I have files in my .well-known folder, and I have a minimal, never finished personal webpage. If I CNAME to my plain domain, I can't have those served. I would like to useuser@domain.tldon Holos with my webpage and .well-known available. Do you think an alternative CNAME scheme could be used, maybe_something.domain.tld?This is already on the roadmap. The plan is to support a separate server subdomain (e.g. social.domain.tld) with your identity on the root domain, so your website and .well-known files stay untouched.
sounds perfect, looking forward to it, then i will be able to migrate from mastodon. 🎉
